How to find other users to follow on

Instagram

Instagram is a Free Photo application to instantly share images with followers.

Use the Explore button to find other users to follow and connect with on Instagram.

The second button from the left is called Explore.

You can use this to “Search” Instagram for Users and Hashtags.

A Hashtag is used to mark a post with a

keyword.

Search a Hashtag with a

keyword for your

industry.

Once you have searched,

you can see all the

different hashtag options

to look at based on the

word you searched.

You can click into any of

the hashtags and see

posts done by other

users with that hashtag.

This can be the first step

to help you find users to

follow with the same

interests.

You can also search by

Users that use these

keywords in their

username or bio by

switching the search to

“Users”. This is an

immediate way to find

users to follow.

Another way to find other

users to follow or hashtags

to search is to click into

someone that you respect in

your industry.

Click into one of their posts.

When on their post, you will

see hashtags that they use.

This can give you ideas of

new hashtags to search.

Clicking on their posts also

helps you to see who

interacts with their posts.

Those who like and

comment on their posts may

like and comment on yours!
