Export as ImagesTo export the screenshots you’ve made, as separate images, go to1)”Export & Publish” and choose 2)”Content to a folder” option.

1) Browse for the path, where you’d like to locate the exported images.2) Choose an Image Filename Pattern (the name your images will startwith).3) Choose Output Options. They can be optimized automatically ormanually.4) Press “Publish”

HTML Export To export your StepShot guide to HTML, go to “Export & Publish” (1) andchoose “HTML Export” (2)

Then, check variables that will be located within your document, edit themif necessary (steps 1;2)Press “Next” (3)

At this stage, you can “Edit Template” (1) as well as export, delete, orrename it (2)

Once you press “Edit template” button, StepShot will automatically suggestthat you generate an editable copy of the template.

Once you click on it, you’ll be able to edit your template

Once you are done with edits, go back, click on “Export” (1) and enjoy yournewly-created HTML file (2)

Word ExportTo export your .ssg file created in StepShot Guides, go to 1)”Export &Publish” and choose 2)”Word Document” as an output format.

Then:1) check all the default document variables that will be present on thedocument title page. Find more info about Variables here.2) edit them if needed3) press “Next”

At this step, you’re able to:1) Import your own template.2) Choose one of our basic templates and edit it if needed (see how to dothat on our next screenshots).

After choosing a template and pressing “Edit Template”, click on “OK” onthe pop-up window.

Click on “template”.

Choose the template to edit it.

After making all the necessary changes, press 1)”File” -> “Save” and 2)“Close” it.

Your template will appear at the bottom of “Choose a Template” menu. 1)Click on it in order to apply it to the guide. 2) Press “Export” and enjoy theresult!

PDF exportTo export your .ssg file created in StepShot Guides, go to 1)”Export &Publish” and choose 2)”PDF Document” as an output format.

If you’d like your images to be optimizedautomatically within the page, check the corresponding option. Otherwise,uncheck it and scale images by resizing 5) the small blue window accordingto your needs.

After choosing “Edit Template”, editing workspace appears. Here you may1) drag & drop elements within the page or delete them according to yourneeds and 2) change characteristics of your elements (fill, font, border etc.)Add 3) Textbox, 4) Rectangle or 5) Image to make your cover page lookmore professional.6) You can also edit Table of Contents and Regular Page (see the next 3screenshots).

Table of Contents settings:1) set the page borders and 2) edit Table of Contents’ set-up.

Regular page settings:1) set the page borders, 2) change the text settings according to yourneeds, 3) choose the layout. If you want to apply the changes, press 4)Save(see the next screenshot). Otherwise, click on 5)Cancel.

1) Create a name for your template in a pop-up window, 2) press “Save”.

1) Your template will appear among the rest of the existing ones.2) Press “Next” to proceed to the “Preview” window.

1) Check whether your guide looks the way you want by clicking“Next”/”Previous” page.2) Press “Export” and enjoy the result!

WordPress ExportTo publish your guides as a WordPress post:1 – Go To Export & Publish menu.2 – Select WordPress Publication.

Click on Add New Account

Fill in this window. Then Sign in.

You will be prompted to test how uploading works.Press Upload.

After it’s done successfully, confirm adding your account.

Now, choose the WordPress site you added and click on Next.

Browse the post you want to upload your guide to.

Mind that you can select an existing post or create a new one.Click OK.

Press Next.

Decide if you want a referral link to be inserted. You can earn 20% of theprice with it.

Make necessary changes here, and hit Publish.Your post is published as a draft.

Open in browser and you will be redirected to your WordPress login page.You know what to do here.

Video ExportFirst, go to Export & Publish.Then, press Video.

You will see this window.Put a tick next to the step you would like to include into the video.Or press Select all button to add all your steps.

Let’s examine the options here.1 – All the steps you selected.2 – Your step titles and step descriptions will be displayed in the Text tospeech box. This text will be auto narrated.Remember that there’s a limitation for 500 symbols.3 – If auto narration is preferred, choose the voice over. You can test howeach sounds.4 – Select the size of your video.

Switch to Record in order to record your own narration.

1 – Regardless of the type of Step narration, decide if you want to showsubtitles on your video.2 – If you record your text, remember that subtitles will still contain text tospeech, not the recorded one.

When recording, do the following:1 – Choose the recorder input.2 – Pause when needed. Stop once done.3 – Reset if you’re not happy with what you’ve got. Or attach to step if therecording is alright.

You’ll see this icon on your video step accompanied with a warningmessage if you have steps without any narration.

Also, this warning message appears to remind you to add audio.

Once your video is excellent, export it.
