One of the biggest questions online marketers

ask is how to drive targeted traffic to your blog.

Instead, the question should be how I do I get

the right people that want to buy what I have to

my product. It starts with having a product to

sell and a couple other must haves that I’ll

mention later in this post. You can also start

getting the right people to your blog without

having a product for research.

You can drive people to your website or blog

for the purpose of finding out what product to

sell or what people are looking for. You can

start working on your product while you’re

getting traffic but you have to be working on the

product. So that you can get a bigger portion of

income generated from that niche.

Driving targeted traffic doesn’t really matter if

you don’t have a product to sell. When you get

that product finished then you can start profiting

from that traffic. You see, it’s not a good idea to

go out to spend money to get thousands of

people to your website if you don’t have

everything set up correctly.

People should come to your website because

they think they can learn something from you

that they can’t find anywhere else. That should

be provided and have a way for them to opt in.

Are you like me when you opt into a list you get

emails like they’re coming from a robot?

I believe that online marketers should be

creating valuable emails, finding out what

emails works and what sequences work to create

a campaign that impacts people’s lives and is

cutting edge. So if your campaign isn’t working

take it out and replace it with one that you find

works.

It’s all about interacting with people that are

interested in what you might have. A belief that

you can help them. You know it’s kind of like

social media. People want to connect with other

people, find out what they do, make friends and

see if there is any way they can get answers to

challenges. But the delivery of correct

information can be sent out to the right people

through email. Not so much with social media.

So it’s not about getting traffic. There’s a lot

more involved when people ask how to drive

targeted traffic to your blog. There’s the

relationship, the trust, the value, the results in

how to find out what’s working to be able to get

the right people what they’re looking for.

If you don’t have your website with everything

you need on it it will really be hard to get the

right people coming back to your website from

the start. What you pay out for traffic is lost.

Gone. It will also be really hard to get people to

legitimately share your website on social media.

You see if you have a great blog post it could go

viral. It could be one out of many. Say that

somebody that has thousands of loyal people on

their list and thinks your post could be valuable

to their list. They send out your post and you

guide them to their solution. If your list is set up

correctly for those people looking at the email

blast you might discover that you sell a lot of

products and make tons of cash.

So let me say again I really believe that you

should have certain things in place when driving

traffic. Why drive traffic if it’s a waste of time. I

can relate though. I tried to do it the easy way

for years. So don’t get me wrong but it’s much

better to spend the time getting everything set

up to where that traffic is profitable.
