How to Download Skype onto your phone This document outlines how to download the Skype app on to an Android phone and accept a call. The steps to download the app on an iPhone and accept a call would be similar. Open the Play Store and search for skype. Select skype in the search results and select the Install button.

Download the app and install it once downloaded.

Once the app has installed, select the Open button. Select the Let’s go button from the Skype welcome screen.

Select the Sign in or create button and either Sign in or select the Create one link to create an account.

Enter your mobile phone number or select to use your email address instead. Create a password and select the Next button.

Enter your first and last names and the verification code that is sent to your mobile phone.

To give the Skype app access to your microphone and camera, select the Continue button and select Allow.

Allow the Skype app to access your camera. The Skype app is now configured and will open.

An Arcare team member will commence the Skype call. Select the Video button to accept the call.

Turn your audio and video on/off as required during the call.
