Dismount Step for KA87 Speed Reducer

1. Turn KA87 housing on its side, screw off M12*1.25 oil plug of the bottom, then drain the housing of all the old oil.

2. Keep motor up, using 18mm wrench to remove fittings which link motor and housing, then input stage small gear is installed on the motor shaft.

3. Using 13mm wrench to remove M8 screw of cover plate, and then remove the cover plate.

4. Remove framework oil seal 1 and framework oil seal 2, and then remove clip 1 and clip 2.

5. According to following picture, knock output shaft from A to B, then remove bearing 1, bearing 2, output stage big gear, shaft sleeve. Please note: when knocking output shaft, please use soft material to pad, don’t knock on the output shaft directly. Output stage big gear should use 80-85mm tool to fix.

6. Remove plane oil seal 1 and plane oil seal 2 below the output shaft, and then remove clip 3 and clip 4.

7. Use 130-140mm tool such as a wooden stick, one side fix bevel gear, the other side fix housing, then knock output stage gear shaft from B to A, you will remove the output stage gear shaft. Please note: use soft material pad, you can not knock output gear directly.

8. Remove bevel pinion, then remove input stage gear, and then remove bearing 5 and bearing 6.
