Step 1: Interview and Creation of Design Concept

Step 2: Engage CinemaTech for Development of Theater• Open discussion between you, the Audio Video consultant, Designer, Builder, and/or Architect to discuss design details of the room

• CinemaTech’s Theater Designers will create a design concept for your theater based on the input you have provided CinemaTech

• Gather initial Audio Video equipment specifications from authorized AV consultant

Step 3: Preliminary Drawings

• AutoCAD drawings of all 4 walls, reflective ceiling and floor plan including seating layout with sight lines and viewing angles

• Room dimensional analysis for acoustical optimization

• Detailed price estimate of theater including Acoustic Room Systems, Sconces, Carpet, Wood Working, Motorized Curtain, Fiber Optic Ceiling, Cove Lighting, etc.

Step 7: Construction Documents (if needed)

• Documents for the General Contractor to build out the room in preparation for CinemaTech’s interior elements, acoustic treatment and seating

• Includes all structural elements that need to be built: electrical plan, lighting plan, details/sections, paint schedule, etc.

Step 8: Sound Isolation Drawings (if needed)

• Documents that provide construction solutions for the transfer of sound outside of the theater

• Includes but is not limited to wall and ceiling isolation construction technique, layout and material selection, etc.

• CinemaTech also addresses all penetrations to the envelop such as light fixtures, doors, AC vents, outlets, etc.

Step 9: Final Measure

• A representative from the Theater Design team will visit the site to take final measurements of the room if CinemaTech deems it necessary

• Done prior to the manufacturing of custom theater components to ensure that the construction has been completed to CinemaTech’s specifications

• Final measure is completed once the theater build‐out is complete

Step 10: Installation Plans• Installation plans are produced and used to construct the finished theater interior if required by CinemaTech

• Acoustic layout drawings are prepared

• Acoustic room modeling is done

• Your hassle free theater install will typically start within the next 8 weeks

Step 12: Shipping• Shipping to the jobsite is always included in the CinemaTech quotation

• Materials will need to be stored is a safe dry place until the CinemaTech install team arrives

Step 13: Installation• CinemaTech’s crew arrives on site and begins the installation

• All transportation, lodging, per diem and other installation expenses are included in the CinemaTech quotation

• If CinemaTech seating is ready to be installed at the time of the theater installation, special accommodations can be made to have CinemaTech installers setup seating

Step 11: Manufacturing• Subsequent to the final measure, CinemaTech begins the fabrication/procurement of all theater components

• Once the installation is completed, an installation sign‐off is required to ensure that you are 100% satisfied with the quality of work that CinemaTech has completed
