How to Create a Free E-mail Account, Read and Answer your e-mails. Yahoo! provides FREE e-mail. To create a free e-mail account with Yahoo! type http://www.yahoo.com/ in the address field of your web browser and click on ‘Go’ or hit <Enter>. You will see the following page. To get started, click on the ‘Free mail: Sign Up’ link.

The new user sign-in page will appear. Follow the instructions and enter all the information required. Select your Yahoo! ID (username) and

create a password.

When selecting an ID, it is important that you make it as unique as possible. Your Yahoo! ID will be your e-mail address. Once you type in your ID, Yahoo! will search their files and will notify you if that ID is available. Yahoo! will also give you some ID suggestions based on the information you entered.

If the ID you entered is not available, you will receive a ‘This ID is not available’ message.

You can continue entering different IDs until you find one that is available or you can select one from the list of suggestions. In the example above, only one suggestion was given. If you wish to use the suggested ID simply click on it and the information will automatically populate in the ID box. Note: Your Yahoo! ID cannot contain special characters or spaces.

Once the ID has been entered, you will need to create a password. Passwords may consist of 6-32 letters or numbers or a combination of both. The page has a password strength indicator. If you want to increase the strength (security) of your password, we suggest using special characters (e.g., @. %).

Once you have entered your password and confirmed it. You must select a securityquestion. Click on the pull down menu to select a question and then type your answer in the‘Your Answer’ box. It is important that you select a question/answer combination that youwill remember. We suggest you write down the information and keep it in a safe place. The security question is used in case you forget your ID or password in the future.

Note: Without the correct verification information, you will not be able to obtainyour password, ID or create a new password.

To complete the process you must type the code that is shown at the bottom of the page. This code helps Yahoo! prevent spam. Once you enter the code make sure you click on the ‘Do you agree?’ box and click on ‘Create My Account.’

You will receive a confirmation page with your Yahoo! ID and other important information.Print this page and keep it in a safe place for your records and/or future reference.

Click on ‘Continue’ to view your new e-mail inbox.

Once you click on continue, you will receive a pop-up window that asks if you would like to\

receive a quick training tutorial on how things work. This is a very brief training on how to work

your way around your e-mail inbox. We suggest that you take this brief training tutorial. To do

so, click on ‘Continue.’

The first training window appears; ‘Getting started’, read the information in the text box and then clickon ‘Next.’ You might be prompted to participate in a survey as well. If you do not wish to participate inthe survey simply click on ‘No, thanks.’

The following window appears: ‘Setting up options’ read the information in the text box andclick on ‘Next.’

The following window appears: ‘View contacts here’, read the information in the text box andclick on ‘Next.’

The following window appears: ‘Told you it wouldn’t take long…’, this concludes the training

session. Read the information in the text box and then click on ‘Get started.’

You will then view your new e-mail inbox. This is the new Yahoo! e-mail version.

We suggest that you use the Yahoo! classic e-mail version because it is userfriendly. To do so, click on ‘Mail Classic.’ A pop-up window will appear, click on ‘Switchto Yahoo! Mail Classic.’

This is the classic Yahoo! mail version. This page notifies you of how many e-mailmessages you have in your inbox.

To view the e-mail messages in your inbox click on ‘Inbox.’ You will see the followingpage. The inbox shows the following information: Sender, Subject, Date and Size ofeach message.

Make sure you update your email address at JAFRAbiz.com, under my account. To do so, log on to www.JAFRAbizcenter.com

Click on My Account on the top Menu and then select “My Account” from the drop down menu.

You will see the following screen. If you do not have an email address or would like to edit your current email address, click on edit information

Type your email address in the E-Mail edit box.IMPORTANT: Select “Yes” in the Receive JAFRA News e-mails section. When you are done updating your information make sure you click on Update Information to save your changes.

Now the My Account section will be updated with your new email address.

You will now receive the following: automatic order confirmation, latest news, special promotions, monthly newsletter and important company news for your JAFRA business.
