Part 2 – Content *If the content is disorganized, full of jargon or boring, your physical appearance
won’t save you
1. Establish your credibility up front then refer to it intermittently but don’t beat people over the head with it

*Use supporting images * if your slides are all words/jargon, people will read and stop listening
*Slides with all words/numbers are boring, so the audience will tune you out *Include at least 1 startling fact somewhere in the presentation
*using humor keeps your audience engaged and awake *Accept questions during the presentation then again at the end

*At the end… *Summarize what you told them
*Call to action then call for questions *If someone asks a tough question, think before you speak, or tell them you’ll follow
up, then DO IT *If no one asks a question, have a couple ready to get the ball rolling
*Remember that your presentation should be entertaining as well as informative (unless you’re talking about death or taxes…. And even then…)
