How to Create a PowerPointBy: Brent Sterling
To begin, click on the PowerPoint icon
This icon will most likely be installed at the bottom of your homepage, as shown:
Once PowerPoint is opened you can begin by adding text to your slide
For example; one might want to start out with the title of the slide: In box 1, all you have to do is click within the dotted lines and type.

Next we will change the theme of the PowerPoint
First click on the design button on the top of the page as shown
Then, pick a theme for your slides

Now to add more slides for your PowerPoint
By clicking the ‘New Slides’ icon in the home display, you can add more slides to your show as needed
*When you click on the small upside down triangle next to this icon, you get options to choose from different layouts of slides*
What you will see:
Adding images to your slide is easy
1) First click on the ‘Insert’ tab at the top of the page2) Then you can choose between an online image or your own
picture3) Search and click on the picture you want

Now, you are ready to add some transitions to your slides
Click on the ‘Transitions’ tab on the top of your page You can choose from many different types of transitions that you
can include in your show
Once you have created your PowerPoint, you are ready for a slide show
Click on the ‘Slide Show’ tab on the top of the page Next, click on the ‘From Beginning’ icon on the left to begin your show
