How to Care for a Rosebush

Things Required:

• Rosebush

• Soil

• Shears

• Water

• Insecticide

Step 1Choose a sunny location for your new rosebush. Six hours of direct sunlight is needed for the rosebush to grow.

Step 2Rosebushes need to be planted in soil, and should be watered daily. Don’t permit the soil around the rosebush dry out and make sure that while you are watering you soak the root area with water.

Step 3Prune your roses regularly. This process helps your plant to get rid of dry branches and twigs. A pruned bush will offer beautiful roses.

Step 4To keep aphids and beetles off your rosebush use the insecticide. Aphids and beetles will destroy your healthy bush.

Step 5Protect your bush from the cold winter months. Adding extra dirt around the bush can help.
