Our Mission

The Basics

You extract your wisdom and know-how into a multimedia digital course. We host the course on our community education platform, where everyone can benefit from your gifts.

Page 5: How to Build your Course

Choose a topic or category that you are a trained or natural expert in. Create your video, audio or webinar content that educates the user on your topic. The more specific the topic of your Course the better. For example, instead of “Short Meditations” Course Create a “Effective Meditations for Busy People” Course !We have extensive training and educational materials on this, so don’t worry. Key Points to Consider before Starting

•Are you passionate about the content?

•Is your content easily approachable and applicable for the learner?

•Do you feel confident in your delivery of the information?

•Can the information be broken down into step by step parts?

•Is your Course a Novel Approach to the specific education you are offering?

•Would the course make sense to someone actively involved in that realm of

study and also make sense to someone with no prior experience in that topic?

Building Your Curriculum

The easiest way to build a curriculum is as follow: 1.) Create a Table of Contents for your course and the information you want to share. !2.) Organize your Table of Contents in terms of what one must learn first before moving on to the next thing, step by step. Create a story arc that is simple and focused! !3.) Turn your table of contents into Modules. List each piece of content you will be featuring in each module, and get creating! !!!Contact us if you need some help organizing your content, we love to help with this! Your Course Media

Now that you’re clear on the modules of your course, decide the best form of media to convey your wisdom. !We support video, audio and text formats. Make sure to include at least a one-sentence summary with each piece of media. !Once you produce the media for each module and upload it into our platform, your course is complete and ready for review! !If you want to know more about the perfect course framework, check out our Course Building Resource Guides.

Page 13: How to Build your Course

A Perfect Module

In each module we recommend you create: • At least one piece of multi-media content. • A minimum one sentence summary of the module’s content. • One exercise or technique for the student. !Keeping one piece of multimedia content per module keeps things simple and easy for the student. However, feel free to make more robust modules, full of various videos, audios or text in order to fully convey the information in your course. !Optional: • Downloadable audio tracks. • PDF workbooks which contains summaries, exercises, questions and

more info for continued learning. !

Page 14: How to Build your Course

A Perfect Course VideoA perfect training video or audio takes one on a journey through your content. Turning your education into a story allows one to really apply it to their lives. !Start with an introduction, and then go step by step. Move slow, break things down in a simple step by step approach, yet keep the pace high and engaging. Ask questions, give activities and put yourself in the shoes of the person experiencing your piece of content. Don’t be afraid to invite the user to pause the content to take notes, answer questions or do a written activity. !Tip: Before submitting the final content to us have some friends who don’t know the content take a look at it and give you feedback. Are there parts that are unclear? Are there other parts where you’d like more information? !Video & Audio Components: - Introduce Yourself & Your Content - Offer a Summary (“In this video we will be covering…”) - Communicate the Benefits of Applying & Utilizing the information You are offering. - Share a bit about your personal story and how you relate to what you are teaching. - Guide One through the Journey of the Educational Material step by step - Address Common Challenges & Hang-Ups - End with a Technique, Practice or Action Step for the User.

Additional Course Materials

It’s our goal to make the educational experience Creator Course offers as engaging and interactive as possible. Just like traditional education, having a Workbook, summary sheets or a written list of techniques, allows the user to take the information off the computer and into their lives. !A Course Workbook (or Playbook as we like to call them), can be as short as 1-page of bullet points or questions, highlighting the main points of your content or even 20+ pages of in-depth concept explanations. The more angles the user is able to access and integrate the information, the better. !The Varieties of Course Materials & Training Docs (Playbooks) can Include but are not limited to: Questionnaire Summary Sheet Tools & Technique Guide Diagrams Statistics, Quotes, Inspiring Stories
