What is RSSWhat is RSS

• RSS is the subscription of receiving information as soon as it is published immediately to your computer using a RSS reader.

• Note: there are many definitions of RSS. This definition is used to explain how one receives information.

• RSS is a feature of web 2.0 that distributes website information on a regular basis.

• For example anytime someone writes a new blog entry then RSS will send a message to a RSS reader or another place that accepts RSS feeds.
