6 Steps to Becoming a Pharmacist

Step 1

Complete High School – Focus on Science and Math classes. Try to study hard and get good grades.

Step 2

Apply to and attend college. Concentrate on fulfilling pre-requisite pharmacy coursework within an Associates or Bachelor degree program.

Step 3

Prepare for your admissions application to pharmacy school. This includes volunteering or working at a pharmacy, hospital or doctor’s office.

Take a PCAT- Pharmacy College Admissions Test and reach for a high score.

Step 5

Step 6

Get a license from your State. The two tests you will take are the NAPLEX and the MPJE.
