WAYS TO GIVE

Today is the fourth Sunday of Advent

Reading today: The Sargent Family We light the first candle to remember the prophet Isaiah, who told of God’s promise to send a Savior. We light the second candle to remember Mary and Joseph. An angel told Mary and Joseph that the Savior would be born soon and that Mary would be his mother. We light the third candle to remember the angels who told the shepherds the good news. We light the fourth candle to remember the shepherds who told others the good news. The shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all they had heard and seen, as it had been told them. Luke 2:20
