How to add the Care button to your website

What is the Care button? The Care button is a new social currency that charities can use to engage people with their cause. It enables supporters to ♥ the causes that mean the most to them.

Clicking Care is a simple way for someone to show they support your cause and inspire others to do the same. Think of it as a warm-up action – the start of a supporter journey that can lead to a deeper connection with your organisation. 

Today it’s a Care, but in a few months time they could be doing their first fundraising event for your charity.

Step 1: Add the button

Follow these simple steps to add the Care button to your website:

1. Log in to your charity account: http://just.ly/charityaccountlogin

2. Click on Fundraising tools and select Buttons

3. Click on the Care button

4. The HTML code for the button will appear in the box to the right

5. Click Copy if you'd like to add the HTML directly to your website yourself. The information will be saved to your clipboard and can then be pasted directly into your charity's website

Alternatively, add an email address so you can send the code directly to your web manager or whoever updates your website.

Step 2: Promote it

Make sure the Care button is easy to find on your website, so your supporters can show they care at the click of button.
