The patriots won their independence by standing up for themselves and fighting for what they believe in. They also had a good strategy because what made them win were surrounding Great Britain’s solders and fighting, they also had a lot of advantages like help from some of Great Britain’s enemies like the French; they helped the patriots because they had a good army and strong solders that were professionally trained. Another advantage was that they new the land, so they new all of the good hiding spots, and they probably had a secret place were they would meet and make

war plans. Those are a few advantages the Patriots had in the war with Great Britain They also had some disadvantages, like not having good weapons, the best weapon they probably had was a little gun, and they probably only had enough for half the solders
