This video was forwarded to me from a friend of mine He is a Sitarist and also he gives music classes and known sitarist in mumbai he told me that This girl is maid somewhere but her voice is just like Lata Mangeshkar ji.. whenever she come around music she feels very good . her parents can't support her financially maybe . we can help her..Please come together to support her..the i asked him is this video on youtube?he says no i am not so technical but you can do it.

Please change the caption of the video. She is NOT a Maid!!! She is a school girl studying in 6th standard. She is from a good background. Jayalakshmi from Palllippuram, Cherthala, Kerala. She is already learning classical music and performing on stage and music albums. This video was shot on mobile by her mother from her home in casual dress. I will suggest you to send her song video to news channels, emailing to talent seeking platforms such as Indian idol and related types and making a good video recording of the studio quality etc rather seeking help from individuals. No offence to any one posting here and trying to help out but it is a shady world out there and she has a great talent, which may get wasted due to not getting the optimum exposure but some how getting limited to the local performances. My best wishes for her.

Sorry..I doubt whether Mr Prashant k.t. who uploaded this here knows this girl personally. I suppose this was a casual upload of a student's song by her teacher in Kerala since he seems to be the first one to post this video clip in fb.Pls correct me if wrong. And I think both of them are unaware of the stir it has made! She is indeed a blessed child with amazing talent! And if properly guided will reach great heights. But for God's sake, let us refrain from spreading stories about her background and character.Such offhand remarks can affect the child & her family! We will wait till the correct details are out.
