How Metro Phase 2 will Influence the Property in Bangalore market?

Whenever there is a physical infrastructure development-taking place in Bangalore, the intention is to improve the connectivity within the city. Due to the decision to develop second phase of metro connectivity, there will be development in the Bangalore's real estate market. The line will be completed by 2020 and the real estate fraternity is eagerly awaiting the completion of the metro line project.

Where the Metro Will Pass ThroughThe Namma Metro has completed five years of operational service and the BMRC (Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation) is keen to expand metro services in the city with phase 2 of its metro project. The planned phase 2 of the metro line will extend 72 Kilometers of which 13 Km will be underground and 58 Km will be elevated.

The plan proposed includes the extension of lines such as Purple Line and Green Line. There will be two new lines such as RV Road to Bommasandra and Gottigere to Nagawara. Property in Bangalore, which lies along this corridor will benefit immensely once the new metro corridor is complete. The new phase will add 61 new stations to the metro line and 12 stations shall be underground. The Residential projects in Bangalore will likely receive a boost due to their proximity to the new corridor, which will be ready soon.

The Planned MetroA certain portion of the metro project will run along the Outer Ring Road and is a major component of the planned phase 2 of the project. The apartments in Bangalore, which lie in the proximity of the Outer Ring Road shall benefit immensely from the presence of a fully functioning metro line running alongside. Once the project is completed, it will link KR Road and Silk Road Junction with proposed stations at HSR Layout/Venkatapura, Iblur Junction, Agara Junction, Marathahallai Junction, Kadubeesanahalli, ISRO, and Mahadevpura.

The project will give the city of Bangalore a complete makeover and lead to smoother flowing traffic on Bangalores Roads. Many Top builders in Bangalore who have projects along the planned metro line shall be able to sell units at a premium rates. The regions such as Electronic City and Whitefield will be benefited once the second phase of the metro is completed. The prices will shoot up by 25 per cent once the metro becomes functional.
