HOW I FILMED SILHOUETTE

Step 1: position the lights above facing the wall and black out any other light sources in the room.

This picture was taken of me explaining to the young girl how the silhouette concept will be executed.

Step 2: turn lights on to face the wall and position actress 2 metres in front of the lights. (Closer to the camera)

This picture demonstrates how I (bottom right) directed my actors.

Step 3: put photographic gels in front of the camera. I had several coloured gels and I alternated between colours after every couple of shots I filmed in order to ensure I had a variety of coloured backgrounds.

These steps when

carried out correctly will inevitably achieve the desired result.
