Use the following command to back up the entire Hitachi relational database (HiRDB) on a Windows-based server‒ x:\Program Files\HiCommand\Base\Bin\hcmdsdbtrans
/export /workpath x:\backup_workpath /file x:\backup.zip /auto
‒ Notes‒ Change the “x” drive to the installation drive
‒ On 64-bit servers, change “Program Files” to “Program Files (x86)”
‒ “Workpath” directory must be an empty directory
‒ File location can not be in the “workpath” directory
‒ “/auto” stops and starts all of the required services for backup automatically
