Download 320kbps MP3 of the songs originaland instrumental

Create/download vocals only version and

harmonies rip Load everything into Adobe Audition!

Then line them up, just roughly~ no need to

time them on the spot~ youll do it later. Oryou can time them at this point. It reallydepends on you.

Lets start cleaning!

Cleaning is a term for removing static noises etc. in asolo track

It is also where I try as much as possible to balance outthe mic qualities~

This is done to ALL solo tracks and the steps are donein a specific order

Each solo track needs different effects but Ill give you alist on the general effects

Some solo lines doesnt need some of the effects. Illgive you a table later~

To start, double click one of the solo tracks and itll goto the edit view!

1. KILL THE MIC RUMBLE!

Effects -> Filters -> FFT Filter -> Kill The Mic

Rumble -> OK! -> Wait~ -> NEXT EFFECT

This actually removies some of the noise and

mic thingies. XD

Effects -> Filters -> Graphic Equalizer -> Simple

Bass Cut -> OK! -> Wait~ -> NEXT EFFECT

This removes too much bass. It also makes the

voice clearer.

Effects -> Filters -> Scientific Filters-> Drop Off

Below 250Hz -> OK! -> Wait~ -> NEXT EFFECT

This I dunno. It just sounded better when I

Effects -> Amplitude -> Dynamics Processing ->

Compander -> OK! -> Wait~


Classic SoftKnee -> OK! -> Wait~ -> NEXT

uniform volume (or same volume all

throughout the track)

6. Subtle Pitch Correction

Effects -> Time/Pitch -> Pitch Correction ->

Subtle Pitch Correction-> OK! -> Wait~ -> NEXT

This makes wobbly notes smoother~ :D

Thats usually what I do. But

sometimes, peoples lines change so

does the stuff you do to them. You justneed to know what the effects are for

so you can do it to them~

Sometimes lines are also too crisp, so

you might want to add a little bass.Effects -> Filters -> Graphic Equalizer -

> Simple Bass Lift -> OK!

TIMING

Well, just align the tracks! Cut then drag, cut

then drag~ :D

VOLUMES!

The normalize effect we did in the cleaning

actually makes the tracks somehow have the

same volume. But there might be some that

are too loud or too soft, so be sure to listenand change the volumes of those tracks~

Mixdowns

Group together the duet lines, trios, quadros,

etc. into a single track using mix downs. This

helps to easily manage these parts.

Here are series of effects you can use to make

the mixdowns sound better~

Effects

Here goes reverb, echo, stutter effects,Autotune, ETC.

I usually duplicate tracks and put the effect on

those so I can control how much of the effectcan be heard.

Also, panning the effects left and right is goodtoo~

Just study the original track closely to knowwhat kinds of special effects they used~

Volumes

After that its time to adjust the volumes for

the mixdowns/effects/echoes etc.

Just make sure they have more or less the

same volume

Finalizing

Mixdown everything from the instrumental, to

the harmonies to the vocals to the effects.

EVERYTHING.

Then go listen to it. Adjust volumes and other

stuff if needed.

If it sounds good enough, ITS DONE!
