To whom it may concern;
This is about adding a movable glass door and glass window on the openings of the porch
at the BCN Taste &Tradition Restaurant located at 4210 Roseland Street within the First
Montrose Commons Historic District.
This old decapitated house went through extensive renovation and was converted into a
restaurant in 2014 during which we received a certificate of appropriateness from your
department.
In March of this year we were also awarded the Good Brick award.
The people love dining in the porch, however during the very hot months the owners of the
restaurant they would like to have the flexibility to enclose the area .
This will happen only for five hours from 6.00 pm to 11.00 pm from Tuesday to Saturday when
the restaurant operates and only when is needed. The rest of the time the glass will be folded at
the side as indicated in the illustration.
This is a first-class Spanish Restaurant and it truly has added to the historical architectural
integrity of the neighborhood.
The restoration was done respecting this history and this alteration will be done in the same
manner.
Respectfully,
Fivos Kazilas
