• Companies spend a lot of money making sure people recognise their products.

• Their invest in a house style which people (or consumers) become familiar with.

• This theme is present in their products, advertising and in the way they present information to people in their documentation.

• Documents can be created which force people to follow a particular theme or structure.

• This will ensure that people recognise who the documents come from and that important information is not missed off the document itself.

• There are various ways of achieving this.

• Research the following:– Master documents/slides– Styles Sheets– Templates

• Try and discuss how each of these can be used by a company to maintain a consistent house style.
