Your child’s scheduleYour child will have 5 classes per day and 30 mins for lunch.
-Math and ELA are 100 minute blocks (2 periods) -Science, Social Studies, and P.E. are 50 minute blocks (1 period each)
ELA follows the curriculum set by the District-Learnzillion We will follow 3 novel units
Unit 1-Non-fiction=Steve Jobs Unit 2-realistic fiction=Hatchet
Unit 3-Historical fiction=The Witch of Blackbird Pond
English Language Arts
Eureka Math Modules:
Module 1- Ratio and Unit RatesModule 2- Arithmetic Operations including Division of FractionsModule 3- Rational NumbersModule 4- Expressions and EquationsModule 5- Area, Surface area, and volume problemsModule 6- Statistics

-The Student Learning Target for Health and Physical Education is based on their improvement from pre- to post-test performances of the Fitnessgram Assessments by the Cooper Institute.

This time will be used to accelerate any skills that we see we are having difficulties with. Teachers will use many different resources depending on which skill needs to be addressed.
