Fred Franks joined as a conscripted volunteer when the office was in Ngaire Avenue.

This Ministry relies on donations from faithful supporters and income from ministry materials to stay on air. Times are tough and with the added misery brought about by the Christchurch disaster, many people are not able to give the way they used

A few months ago the Ministry was blessed with a bequest that made it possible for us to continue showing Hour of Power on air in New Zealand as well as keeping the office open.

They were obedient to God and blessed us with a bequest according to the word of the Lord in Matthew 6:20 which tells us “But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal.”

We are extremely grateful to everyone who supports this wonderful Ministry and we know that God will bless them.

Being married for nigh on 60 years had made their team work a joy to behold.

Fred’s was a life lived to the full and he will leave a huge gap in many lives – especially of Joy and the family.

We m u s t h a v e d o n e something right – perhaps it was the gluten-free biscuits and cakes – as from that time on when Joy came every three months to pack the quarterly packages, Fred came too. Sometimes it was hard for us to keep up with their pace of work!
