D ISHWASHERLoading your DishwasherFirst of all. Before placing dishes in thebaskets, remove all course foodremains. This avoids blocking thefilter, which would reduce theefficiency of the wash.If saucepans and frying pans arevery dirty, allow them to soak beforebeing washed. To make it easier to load yourdishes, pull the baskets out.

What goes into the lowerbasket? We recommend you place the mostdifficult dishes to wash into thelower basket: saucepans, lids, soupdishes and plates (a load exampleis shown in the photo). Serving dishes and large lids:

place them on the sides of thebasket.

Saucepans, salad bowls: mustalways be placed upside down

Very deep dishes: place themobliquely, thus allowing water torun down them and cleaningthem better

This basket is equipped with tworemovable grids: insert the cutleryone by one into the slots; knivesand utensils with sharp blades ortips should be positioned with thesharp parts at the bottom. Positionall cutlery items so that they don'ttouch. If the basket is the one with sideinserts, then insert the tea spoonsone by one into the slots.

    lower basket

It is best if you place longer utensilshorizontally at the front of the upperbasket. After loading the dishes, rememberto check that the spray arms canturn freely without hitting againstany dishes.

What goes into the upperbasket?Place delicate and lightweightdishes in the upper basket: glasses, tea cups and coffee cups, saucersand plates - shallow salad bowls, slightly dirty frying pans andshallow pans.Position lightweight dishes in suchas way as to avoid their beingmoved by the spray of water.

How to adjust the upperbasket. The upper basket can be set in highor low position to enable you toorganise your dishes effortlessly.

What can I Wash Items not suitable for the dishwasher: Cutlery and tableware made from wood or part wood - They may become faded and unsightly in appearance. Avoid washing horn handled and bronze cutlery in the machine. Delicate/decorative glassware and vases, special antique or irreplaceable china - the decorative patterns

printed on these items will not be dishwasher proof. Plastic objects that are not resistant to hot water. Copper and Pewter utensils. Aluminium and Sliver objects. Some types of glass can become opaque in appearance after they have been washed too many times in a

dishwasher. Highly absorbent materials such as sponges and towels should never be placed in a dishwasher. If in any doubt, check with the manufacturer on items suitability for dishwashers.WARNING: Dishes or cutlery soiled with tobacco ash, wax, lubricating grease or paint should not be put

    in the dishwasher.

Our recommendation: In future, only purchase table or kitchenware that has been confirmed - dishwasherproof.

    D ISHWASHERCare and Cleaning

Cleaning the spray arms.Food residue may becomeencrusted onto the spray arms andblock the holes where water comesout. Check the spray arms regularlyand clean them once in a while.

DO NOT use solvents orabrasives to clean the exterior andrubber parts of your appliance, donot use solvents or abrasivecleaning products. Use a clothdampened with lukewarm soapywater only.If there are any stains on the surfaceof the appliance interior, use a clothdampened with water and a littlewhite vinegar, or a cleaning productspecifically made for dishwashers.

Unplug the appliance. Before carrying out any cleaning ormaintenance on the dishwasher, always remove the plug from theelectricity socket.

After every wash. When the wash cycle has ended, always remember to turn off thewater supply tap and to leave theappliance door ajar. This way, moisture and bad odours will not betrapped inside.

The seals. One of the factors that causeunpleasant odours to form insidethe dishwasher is food that remainstrapped in the seals. Periodiccleaning using a damp sponge willprevent this from occurring.

Going awayIf the dishwasher is not going to beused for some time, carry out thefollowing: run a cycle with the dishwasher

empty. switch off at the electrical socket

and unplug. turn off the water supply tap,

disconnect the inlet hose andallow to drain.

fill the rinse aid dispenser. leave the door ajar, to prevent the

build up of unpleasant odoursinside the dishwasher.

Before using the dishwasher aftera long break, plug in and switch onat the electrical socket. Reconnectthe inlet hose and turn on the watersupply tap. Check there are nodeposits of rust inside the waterpipe, if there are allow water to runfrom the supply tap for a fewminutes.

Moving the appliance.Drain water from the dishwasher.Secure all loose parts. Onlytransport in an upright position. If not kept upright during transport,

any water remaining inside mayseep into the control module andcause subsequent errors withprogramme functions.

Disconnecting thedishwasher. When disconnecting thedishwasher it is important that tasksare carried out in the correctsequence. switch off at the mains and remove

the plug from the socket. turn off the water supply. disconnect drain and water inlet

hose. pull out the dishwasher, carefully,

    withdrawing hoses at the sametime.

The filter assembly IIf you want consistent goodresults from your dishwasher, youneed to clean the filter assembly. The food particles are removedfrom the wash water, allowing it tobe recirculated during the cycle, filtered perfectly. For this reason, itis a good idea to remove the largerfood particles trapped inside thesemi-circular filter A and cupCafter each wash; to remove thefilter assembly, pull the cup handleupwards. All you need to do is rinsethem under running water. The entire filter assembly shouldbe cleaned thoroughly once amonth: semi-circular filter A + cupC + cylindrical filter B+ microfilterD.To remove filter B, turn it anti-clockwise. Use a small non-metallic brush for cleaning.

Reassemble the filter parts (asshown in the figure) and reinsertthe whole assembly into thedishwasher. Position it into itshousing and press downwards. The dishwasher is not to be usedwithout filters. Improperreplacement of the filters mayreduce the efficiency of the washand even damage your dishwasher.
