“Hotel-Pension Marie Luise” is a small, charming, family run hotel and B&B right next to Bad Bevensen's spa park and the idyllic Ilmenau creek.
Our house has been a favourite of tourists and spa visitors for more than a decade, famous for its personal attention to guests - many of them being return visitors or referrals.
Lüneburg Heath
Lüneburger Heide (Lüneburg Heath), a large heath and woodland region covering nearly 775 sq. km, is located between Hamburg, Bremen and Hanover.It is one of the most attractive holiday regions in Northern Germany. It offers many discoveries for nature lovers, in particular, there are many cycling and mountain bike tracks.Plus, there are some of Europe's most prominent amusement and adventure parks, all close together: Heide Park, Walsrode Bird Park and Serengeti Park.Bad Bevensen is located about on hour southeast from Hamburg - by car or train, public transport is excellent.

LüneburgLüneburg Heath’s eponymous city is definitely worth a visit - and only 30 minutes away from Bad Bevensen (on the way to Hamburg). The historic town of Lüneburg is even said to be an open air museum by itself, kind of “Rothenburg of the North”.
The ancient fish market - “Stint Markt” - is a great place to hang out and enjoy a pint of beer from the still active historic inn breweries of Lüneburg - on summer evenings when this streets turns to a big pub.

Bad Bevensen, where our Hotel-Pension Marie Luise is located, is a well known spa town, a one hour's drive southeast of Hamburg. The spa center offers a variety of health resort services and local therapies, with its iodine-saline spa water.
