iM’s bold styling commands attention wherever it goes. The strong, angular lines of its front fascia flow nicely into the mesh grille and aggressive headlights and continue rearward to sleek side skirts. Pumped wheel arches are filled with 17-in. alloy wheels accented in gloss black, and the look is capped off with a rear spoiler. And best of all, it all comes standard on every iM.

Underneath iM’s stylish hood is a sporty 137-horsepower, 1.8-liter DOHC 4-cylinder engine. Outfitted with the latest Valvematic technology, this engine is designed to offer drivers a broad torque curve—for instantaneous fun—and up to an estimated 37 mpg highway.

Transmission choices include a 6-speed manual transmission and an intelligent CVTi-S. CVTi-S aims to give drivers the best of both worlds, with smooth acceleration and high fuel economy in everyday use, plus a Sport mode for even more thrills. Sport mode features seven steps (the CVT version of “gears”) of manual control.

iM has the handling to back up its sporty good looks, so get ready for some serious fun when the roads get twisty. Look underneath iM and you’ll find the same suspension components found in higher-end sports cars, including MacPherson struts in front and a double-wishbone at each rear wheel. A rigid body structure and Electric Power Steering helps ensure iM is one responsive ride. Of course, iM is just as happy delivering a comfortable, compliant ride.

The excitement continues the moment you step inside iM. Front-seat passengers are treated to sports-inspired seats whose deep side bolsters and glove-like fit help keep everyone comfortably in place. Drivers will enjoy iM’s leather-wrapped steering wheel, and its easy-to-read, sports-car-inspired instrument panel—one that includes Scion’s first-ever multi-information display. iM also takes passenger comfort to the next level with standard dual-zone automatic climate control.

iM comes standard with a high-grade entertainment system sure to keep even the most discerning audiophiles happy. It all starts with the 7-in. Pioneer display Audio unit, which gives users access to standard hd radio™ and Aha. Pioneer also supplies its high-end six-speaker sound system tuned just for iM. And users can pair their smartphones and other audio devices to iM via Bluetooth® wireless connectivity, USB and AUX ports.

As with other products in the Scion lineup, iM can be outfitted with a host of genuine Scion accessories. Those looking to add even more sportiness to iM will be excited about the lineup of TRD-supplied accessories which includes a cold-air intake, lowering springs, thicker sway bars and more. A new line of dog-friendly accessories will also be available for iM, including a dog harness with tether, door guards, seat pet barrier and even a grass pad to help keep our four-legged friends more comfortable on the road.
