GENERAL DESCRIPTIONThis type of hoses are designed for the transport of crude oil and petroleum product used for loading and unloading Vessel at offshore moorings Systems. A Single Carcass Hose consists of the three main elements of lining, body and cover, which terminate over an end fitting.

DISCONTINUOUS as request.• W.P.: 15bar; 225psi • Pressure rating: 15 bar; 225psi• Factory test pressure: 15 bar; 225psi• Operating pressure range:

-0,85 / 15 bar; -12 / 225psi• Main carcass minimum burst pressure: 77,5 bar;

1125 psi • Maximum flow velocity:

21 m/s; 70 ft/sec.• Fluid temperature range:

-20°/82°C; -4°/185°F• Ambient temperature range:

-29°C / +52°C• Maximum aromatic content: Up to 60%• Maximum temporary elongation: 2,5% • Maximum permanent elongation: 0,7%• Minimum bending radius: 4 x I.D.

(up to 2 x I.D. without any permanent damage available on request).

FITTING• End connections built in during manufacture• Flange type: Standard flange ASME B 16.5 class

150lb welding neck flat face (other type available on request).

• Flange material: standard flange material ASTM A 105N with a carbon of maximum 0,25% (other materials available on request).

• Flange coating: Hot dip galvanized according to BS 729, par 1 (600 gr./sqm.)

• Gasket contact surface: Finished according to BS 1560 sect. 3 par. 3.3.1

• Nipple material: ASTM A 106 grade A or B or API 5L grade A or B killed or semikilled steel with a carbon content of maximum 0,23%

• Butt weld: X rayed in according to BS 2600 or ASME VIII par. UW-51

• Fillet weld: MPI according to ASME VIII app. 6.

MARINER 115 - S / SC

CONSTRUCTIONMAIN CArCASS• Main lining / Inner tube: Smooth, oil and fuel

resistant pure seamless and extruded Acrylontrile-Butadiene-Rubber (NBR)

• Safety lining: special construction to prevent defects or damage cause by incidental tearing or superficial damages of the main lining

• Reinforcements: Multiple plies of wire steel cord with one embedded helical body steel wire.

OUTER COVER• Smooth black, synthetic rubber resistant to

abrasion, oil, sea water and sunlight• Polyurethane orange in colour cover available on

request.

HOSE TESTS• All tests according to OCIMF 1991 4th Edition and

Customer detail.

PACKING• OCIMF steel pallets as request.

CERTIFICATION• Test certificates issued by our internal quality

control in accordance with UNI EN 10204 3.1 B are included free of charge.If required we can arrange a 3rd Part Inspection carried out by any independent inspector IACS member.

WARRANTY• 18 month from installation / 24 month from

shipment.

CERTIFICATION• Test certificates issued by our internal quality

control in accordance with UNI EN 10204 3.1 B are included free of charge. If required we can arrange a 3rd Part Inspection carried out by any independent inspector IACS member.

Safety Lining: special construction to prevent damage cause by incidental tearing of the main lining. Reinforcements: Multiple plies of Wire steel cord with One embedded helical body steel wire. Cover of Carcass: Smooth, oil and fuel resistant.

2nd CARCAss Oil Retention channel: the two carcass are quite independent, the 2nd Carcass is constructed to contain any oil escaping from 1st carcass. Reinforcements: Multiple plies of High Tensile Textile Polyester cord. Cover of Carcass: Smooth, oil and fuel resistant.

fLOATION Floating Material: Closed cell Foam.

OuTER COVER Smooth black, Synthetic Rubber Resistant to Abrasion, Oil, Sea Water and Sunlight. Helical Orange strip. Orange Polyurethane cover available on request.

LEAK dETECTOR sYsTEM Furthermore, in case of failure of the 1st Carcass, a visual indication system in each End of the hose will become visible.
