Tickets and wristbandsWristbands are to be applied securely to the wrist and must be worn at all times.

Do not “try on” your wristband — the clip is permanent.

Record your wristband numbers. Lost wristbands will be replaced only if exact wristband number is supplied (fee applies).

ATM/EFTPOSMachines are located at the western and eastern ends of the betting ring, at Flemington Tabaret, the Ascot, Trackside, Home Straight and Winning Post enclosures, The Nursery, The Birdcage, The Elms Enclosure and level one of the Hill Stand West.

In member areas, machines are located at The Forum, The View and at the tote windows opposite the Champagne Bar.

Telephones Public telephones are located at the Flemington Tabaret and in the Raceday and Ticketing Office.

RacebooksRacebooks are available from roving sellers and information outlets at turnstiles and around the course. They can also be bought from Federation Square on race days and at the Melbourne Cup Parade on Monday, November 3.

Information staffGold team information staff dressed in bright yellow shirts and caps will be located at all turnstiles and throughout the course.

PoliceVictoria Police will be located in the main betting ring outside the Bernborough Bar.

Lost property/cloak roomAll lost property is to be handed in at the police van in the main betting ring.

Patrons are requested to collect cloaked items at the completion of each meeting. Lost items not collected will be held for 28 days.• If you need to contact lost property, call Melbourne West police on 92475747.

AlcoholAll liquor licence laws will be enforced across Flemington. Failure to comply with these laws will result in the removal of offending patrons.

Laws prohibit alcohol from being taken through the turnstiles at Flemington. Persons in a state of intoxication will be refused entry.

Dry zoneAn alcohol-free dry zone is located next to the mounting yard.

Proof of age wristbands Proof of age wristbands will be required for all people purchasing alcohol. Wristbanding marquees will be located at turnstile and bar entry points. Proof of age ID must be presented. Patrons must be 18 or older to purchase alcohol.

No smokingSmoking is prohibited in all indoor areas at Flemington, including marquees.
