Please read and familiarize yourself with the terms and conditions of this sale, you will be bound by these Terms and Conditions whether you read them or not!!

Belle Plaine Western Exchange, its associates and the auctioneers’ function is to bring the buyer and the seller together. All responsibilities and guarantees lie between the buyer and consignor.

ERRORS: Every effort has been made to assure correctness of the catalog. The sales management and auctioneers are not responsible for errors or omissions and assume no liability on its part as to any statements verbal or written regarding horses sold. In case of typographical or other errors discovered in the printed sales catalog, the auctioneer will announce them and a memorandum will be kept of such corrections which takes precedence over printed matter in the catalog. BUYERS ARE CAUTIONED TO PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO THE AUCTIONEER’S ANNOUNCEMENTS.

WINNING BIDS: The highest bidder will be the buyer and if a dispute arises between two or more bidders, the horse in dispute shall immediately be put up again for advance bids. If there is no advance, the horse shall go to the person from whom the auctioneer recognized the last bid. The consignor shall have the right to pass out or no sale his or her horse. All consignors who no sale their animal must do so prior to the animal leaving the sale ring.

PAYMENT: Terms of sale are cash. Payment in full must be made to the cashier immediately after the sale. All payments shall be in U.S. Currency and on U.S. Banks only. Method of payment shall be Cash, Cashiers Check, Travelers Checks or approved personalized bank checks. Bank Drafts and Credit Cards will not be accepted.

REGISTRATION PAPERS: All papers will be held until payments clear the bank. Buyers paying cash may pick up papers day of sale.

RELEASES: Upon receiving payment for a horse, the cashier will issue an order to obtain delivery. Buyers are cautioned not to lose these orders. Buyers must make arrangements for care of stock until it can be removed.

WARRANTIES: Belle Plaine Western Exchange, Auctioneers and clerks do not represent Buyer or Consignor but merely provide a medium for bringing together for the purpose of sales transactions. ALL RESPONSIBILITIES AND GUARANTEES LIE SOLELY BETWEEN BUYER AND CONSIGNOR.

BROODMARE – PREGNANCY STATUS: The seller guarantees all mares were bred to stallions as indicated in the catalog. We believe them to be in foal but are selling them as they are and without return privileges, unless otherwise specified.

NO PRIVATE SALES: All horses must go through the ring, should you conduct a second sale after the horse is through the ring you will need to report the sale in the office. Papers will not be released, and commission must be paid before the release of the paperwork.

TITLE: Title to and risk of loss passes to the buyer at the fall of the gavel. Immediately after the horse is sold it will be the sole risk and responsibility of the buyer.

COGGINS TEST: This is a service provided to the customer by a licensed veterinarian contracted by Belle Plaine Western Exchange. You are under no obligation to use this service. All horses entering or leaving the state of Iowa must have a current negative test, if one is not provided by you, our contracted veterinarian will conduct the test at the time the horse leaves the ring, and you will be charged for this service. We welcome a current coggins test from a licensed veterinarian and encourage you to provide a coggins should you wish not to use our services.

LIABILITY: Buyers and spectators are cautioned to be careful while on the grounds and particularly while horses are being shown or sold in the sale ring. All persons attending the sale do so at their own risk. Neither the owners nor any other person connected with this sale assume any liability, legal or otherwise, for accidents to persons or property, before, during, or after the sale.

good, puts you where you need to be on either end. Can be ridden by any good roper. Also had reining training so he is

very handy and broke. Gentle, awesome horse!
