HORSE & PONY HEALTH CARE REQUIREMENTS

All animals entering the show grounds, whether competing or for schooling only, must have a current negative Coggins test dated within a year of that competition. It must be presented to show management/secretary upon arrival at the show grounds.

A veterinarian signed health certificate must be presented with Cogginst test. It must be dated 30 days or less prior to arrival and must document Equine Influenza and EHV-1 & 4 vaccination not less than 7 days and no more than 90 days prior to arrival. It must also show that animals have not been at a facility under quarantine for EHV-1 & 4 for the past 30 days.

Please work closely with your veterinarian to devise a good health care program that includes good equine hygiene.

All horses and ponies on the show grounds must be entered immediately upon arrival, no matter when you begin to school or compete. Bringing a horse or pony onto the show grounds for schooling and not entering that animal on an official entry blank is prohibited. No exceptions.
