• Everyone should write a quick story using some of the favourite scenes from horror films you watched. And try a create something using the school as location or background setting. Does not need to make full sense quick scary scenes is permitted for this exercise.

• 5 minutes to write your own story ideas with 4 different key scenes and a Title for film.

• Pitch or read your idea out and we can choose best 2 stories to start filming. Get into group and start storyboard.

• Two groups start planning your film and when ready go and film. Ensure you must have a w/s ,M/S,C/U and at least one talking scene.

• Learn and change or amend if there are problems.• Edit and show to whole class. Quick lesson at start of lesson teaching premiere

then you will edit.• Bring your own scary music or sound effects (MP3 or WAV) and add it for

trailer. Also you can bring Jpeg or PSD of TITLE for film. Meet the deadlines to train you to work faster and smarter.

These are sometimes called macro elements:– what it’s about and the story it’s telling– the kind of horror it might come from– the characters and performances of the cast– the particular representations of people, groups, events or ideas, and theirpotential impact on the viewer.

2. The technical aspects of the production, or micro elements, which construct thatimpact:– the use of different camera shots and angles– the lighting and colour tones used in the sequence– the locations, props and mise-en-scène, and their design– the soundtrack– the editing of the sequence.

3. Representation: how these micro technical aspects have been used by theproducers of the trailer to construct ideas and values around the portrayal of horror in social groups, places, events, or debates.

A 15 year old girl called Mary goes on a school Trip

She takes a bottle of alcohol with her to share with her friends. She is happy but nervous.

On the Coach ,on the way home she does not want to be caught with the drink and so she drinks all of the alcohol very quickly and suddenly goes unconscious.

Her friends try to hide her under some coats.

more complicated.

Luckily, she is found by a teacher andtaken to Hospital.

Her parents arrive at the hospital. The fatherrefuses to believe that his daughter would dothis. The mother blames herself, and is veryupset.
