The Evil within

PLOT

The protagonist of the trailer comes home to find an newspaper

of some description, or a newspaper clipping which contains his

obituary from several years ago. Upon discovering this, he begins to

have visions of the past, or of himself in another time, which causes

him to try and leave the house. Upon trying to leave, he is prevented

from doing so by a demonic version of himself.

PLOT..

Whilst attempting to find a way of the house, and uncovering the

circumstances behind his death, which may or may not have

happened, the protagonist begins to have visions from the time he is

said to have died (1920s-1940s.) This doesn’t confuse him

however, causing the audience to question his sanity and if this isn’t

all the work of his own mind.

PLOT…

The protagonist begins to see more and more visions, until the two

worlds merge together and become one. With neither the audience or

the protagonist able to tell the worlds apart, a constant sense of

unease will hopefully be inflicted upon out audience. The shots will

also follow an illogical pattern, keeping the audience second guessing

themselves all the way through.

KEY PARTS OF THE

TRAILER

The jump scare at the end will more than likely be when the

protagonist goes outside, and is forced back into the house by the

demonic version of himself.

The fact he is soon to die, or already dead will be established early

on, otherwise the audience will have nothing to think of, and may not

get as involved in the story as if they knew it.

COSTUMES

The protagonist of the trailer will constantly be

changing between a 1920s-1940s

costume to a modern day one, and

so, costumes from both eras are

necessary for the plot.

Suits; Jackets and Ties

Hoodie, Jeans and a shirt.

POSSIBLE ACTORS

Due to the nature of our trailer and as our conventions have

shown us; a young, vulnerable protagonist will be best. To this

end, we have a choice of actors, whom will be available to film upon

request and will not require much notice before they are able to come

and film. We will have to work out exactly who would be perfect, as

with a few of our ideas, such as the masquerade masks, one actor may

be all we need for the trailer.

POTENTIAL LOCATIONS

We have made a big thing out of our location, designing a plot and

setting around it. Aside from the house we plan to make use of, we

also know of a few exterior areas if they may be necessary for the

trailer.

INTERIOR LOCATION

Saint Paul’s Church.

EXTERIOR LOCATION

Greenhithe.
