2017/2018membership report

Dear Friends,

As this publication goes to print, I mark the one-year anniversary of my arrival at the Hopkins Center for the Arts—and what a full, rich year it has been. Not only has the Hop continued to grow its marvelous roster of performances and on-screen offerings, we’ve brought to the fore the ways in which these presentations connect to one another and, collectively, affirm and inform us as community members and citizens of our nation and planet. And you have responded: 2017-18 thus far has broken all previous records for Hop membership, and your engagement and support is palpable in everything we do.

You may have noticed that the Hop has acquired a more social vibe of late, with the Top of the Hop Bar open on weekends and, for members, more pre- and post-performance get-togethers. These developments recognize that the Hop isn’t just a place to experience art, it’s a place experience art together. We look forward to sharing even more moments in the dynamic days ahead.
