Albert G’s Bar & Q in the historic Blue Dome District. The barbecue is slow-

smoked and always homemade, but reimagined it in great new ways: Route 66

Nachos, The G’s Louise Salad, and smoked chicken wings with house-made

150 different whiskies with a focus on bourbons. They also claim to be the city

glacier

Stop No. 10: Glacier Confection—Artisanal

Chocolates & Community Stalwart

Downtown Tulsa is home to one of the fastest-growing and lauded new

chocolatiers in the US. Glacier embraces Artisan Chocolate and the Artisan

Chocolatier in a very simplistic, yet special way; they love and respect the Cacao

and what it means to us here on this planet. They manufacture more than 100

handcrafted chocolates and offer “build-a-box” shopping for customers to create

their own chocolate collections. Glacier also undertakes dedicated efforts to raise

support and funds for the US Military, particularly our “Fallen Heroes and their

families. The company soon will complete its second location in the Tulsa Arts

District, complete with facilities for producing chocolates, a classroom, and a full

bar.

GLACIER IS GOING ALL OUT FOR SPE IOR! ITS CURRENT

LOCATION WILL EXTEND HOURS TO 8 PM AND OFFER A 15%

DISCOUNT ON CHOCOLATE. ITS NEW LOCATION—NOT OPEN TO

THE PUBLIC YET—WILL OPEN FOR SPE IOR AND OFFER TOURS

WITH A SMALL PRODUCT OFFERING. PLUS THE 15% DISCOUNT ON

CHOCOLATES!

Valkyrie

Stop No. 11: Valkyrie—Upscale Destination

Bar That’s Still Fun, Neighborly

Located in the thriving Brady District of Downtown Tulsa, Valkyrie is a

destination bar with a playful, neighborhood feel. They focus on comfort and

personality, as well as serving top quality drinks without pretense. The continually

revolving menu offers classic and new cocktails made from whole, fresh

ingredients and expertly crafted by a knowledgeable bar staff. Valkyrie’s draft beer

list includes carefully considered selections from each major style and emphasizes

American craft brewers as well as distinctive finds from around the world. The bar

also features boutique wines from a variety of artisanal producers stateside and

abroad.

VALKYRIE CAN’T LEGALLY DISCOUNT ITS WARES, BUT IT IS

OFFERING SOME NIFTY SOUVENIRS TO SPE IOR DELEGATES AS

WELL AS ITS UNIQUE LIBATION EXPERIENCE.

HUNT CLUB

Stop No. 12: The Hunt Club—Relaxed Pub,

Tasty New Menu, Live Music

The Hunt Club offers a friendly and relaxed environment together with a full bar

and a tasty new menu including barbecue. This bar and grill offers a steady menu

of live music as well, best heard on an upstairs loft patio. There is a wide range of

music with top local bands or rising artists from across the country.

Cains

Stop No. 13: Cain’s Ballroom—The Iconic

Music Venue That’s Bigger Than Ever

Last but by no means the least of the Party Bus stops is one of the most iconic,

historic music venues in the world. Any visit to Tulsa would be incomplete with

this visit to what has become a shrine to the incredible array of music legends that

have performed here—from country to rock to punk to rap to a bunch that can’t be

pigeonhold. Closing in on its centennial, the Cain’s first gained fame as the

launching pad for Bob Wills & His Texas Playboys and Western Swing. It thrives

today, just recently named one of the Top 25 Club Venues in the world—for the

sixth consecutive year. Even when no one is playing there, it’s a unique experience

to tour the club and visit the greats of country music past whose portraits line the

walls—or just check out the framed hole in the wall punched by the Sex Pistols’

Sid Vicious.

UNFORTUNATELY, THERE ARE NO ACTS BOOKED WHILE THE SPE

IOR 2018 IS UNDER WAY. THE CLOSEST IS A SPECIAL BENEFIT

CONCERT DESIGNED TO RAISE FUNDS FOR A MONUMENT FOR

THE LATE MUSIC GIANT AND TULSA NATIVE LEON RUSSELL. BUT

THROUGH A SPECIAL ARRANGEMENT SPE IOR DELEGATES WILL

BE ABLE TO DROP IN AND GET A FREE TOUR OF THIS LEGENDARY

ESTABLISHMENT ANYTIME 10:00 AM AND 5:00 PM APRIL 16-18.
