App Installation When connecting the iMemomate USB Flash Drive to your phone for

the first time, an app installation reminder will automatically pop up.

Follow the prompt to download the iMemomate app.

Note: In case there is no popup reminder, you can also search for

“iMemomate” in the Apple App Store to download.

Using the App 1. Open the iMemomate app and it will enter the iMemo page by

default, showing all of the files on the USB Drive. You can then tap on

App, iPhone, and Settings on the bottom to view the files stored in

your iPhone apps, iPhone Photos, and learn more about the settings.

2. Managing Files

1) Tap on a file to open it. You can also share/copy files.

2) Tap “More” to access the sub-folder and create a new folder. You can also sort and search for files, or use the “Edit” button to manage multiple files at once.

3. Copying Files

Tap on Edit, select the target files, and then tap “Copy” to copy the

files to the destination folder. You can also move files through the

“Move” function without using iTunes.

Note: Please use “Move” with care as it cuts and then pastes files.

4. Sharing files

1) Select the target files, tap “Action” to share the files to social

media, email, or to rename the files. You can also tap on

Camera Roll to add videos and photos to your iPhone

Photos.

2) Tap “Open in” to instantly share the selected files to social

media, i.e. Twitter and Facebook.

Files in the app refer to the files in your iPhone memory. You can

manage the files in your apps by following the above iMemo steps.

5. Managing photos

On the iPhone page, you can view and browse the photos and

videos stored in your iPhone. You can also copy and paste them

onto the iMemomate.

6. Settings

Functions include:

“PLAYING” shows whether there is music playing on the iPhone. If

there is music playing, you can tap the icon to jump to the music

playing page.

“TRANSFER” shows whether there are files being transferred

between the iMemomate USB drive and the connected device (file

names and transfer progress will be shown).

“CONTACTS” is for backing up the contacts of your iPhone to the

iMemomate in vcf format. The backup files can be transferred and

restored on other Apple devices.

FAQ

Q: Why can’t my device read the USB flash drive when it’s plugged

in?

A: You must install the “iMemomate” app on your device first

before using the USB flash drive.

Q: Can I use the iMemomate drive with my iPhone 4/4s?

A: You can use it with your iPhone 4/4s if you use a lightning

adapter and also if you update your iOS to version 7.1 or above.

Q: Can I use the iMemomate flash drive space for installing apps?

A: The USB drive is for transferring files only. You cannot install apps

with it.

Warranty

HooToo products are covered by a 12 month limited warranty from

the date of its original purchase. If any problems occur, please

contact our support team.

We can only provide after sales service for products that are sold by

HooToo or HooToo authorized retailers and distributors. If you have

purchased your unit from a different place, please contact your seller

for return and warranty issues.
