Hood River Distillers, Inc. Sales Analyst – Job Description

SUMMARY

This full-time salaried position is responsible for providing data, reports and presentation material from Nielsen, Diver and customer databases in a professional and accurate format. Also responsible for the analysis of the data to support management decision making and to help drive sales.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES

• Utilizing appropriate analytical reports and tools; provide daily support to division managers and VP of sales to help drive business.

• Collect and report accurate and timely sales related data as required by the sales and management teams.

• Develop strong relationships internally and with customer to become the go-to sales data resource person.

• Remain current on technical, industry and business issues and trends that affect the company sales efforts.

• Develop and maintain sales forecast reports. • Evaluates and analyzes category management making recommendations as

requested by management. • Understand and comply with all company policies and procedures including safety

policies.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Excellent interpersonal skills • Extremely detail-oriented • Excellent planning, analytical, communication and computer skills required • Strong PowerPoint, Excel, Diver and Nielson data skills • Ability to work independently and within a team to communicate with team members

and management on a daily basis • Objective Analytical Power • Ability to be a team player in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Related Bachelors Degree required. Three years related experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Advanced ability to write reports, manuals and correspondence. Ability to communicate effectively with management, vendors, customers and employees in a positive and effective manner. Ability to speak to large audience in a training situation.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra.

COMPUTER SKILLS

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft networking and software. Ability to implement and support hardware and software within a Microsoft network. Ability to troubleshoot and correct hardware and software problems.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to apply common sense. Ability to multitask and prioritize. Attention to detail essential.
