Lithuanian House. The distinguished

Eritrean Statesman who can perfectly stand

beside Franklin Delano Roosevelt or Barack

Hussein Obama and the Chairperson of Eritrean People's Democratic

Party (EPDP), Honorable Menghesteab Asmerom was among us here

in Toronto, on a beautiful day of the summer, in the Lithuanian

House, located at 1573 Bloor Street West.

The Statesman demonstrated great

capability in delivering and promoting

to Eri-Canadians the new National

Proposal set by the EPDP, like a lovely

salesman in a store of a mall.

The National Proposal (NP) is geared

toward unifying the diverse opposition

entities and the scattered Diaspora

skills into organized and synchronized

defense communes against the rogue

ruler Isayas Afeworki. Also the NP is

pushing the opposition factions to

consider one representation for all.

The Chairperson reiterated the

anticipated defense communes who

are to act in unison should accept four

binding principles: firstly members

should believe on the sovereignty of

Eritrea, secondly carry on the struggle

until the demise of the dictatorial

regime, thirdly establish a democratic

system in Eritrea and lastly affirm that

human right should be the covenant of

the enterprise.

For the majority of the evening, serene

atmosphere had settled in the

Lithuanian House. After anchorman

found themselves immersed in the

debate regarding nonviolent versus

violent revolution.

Along the questions and comments

was raised and uproars followed

accusing the Chairperson of accepting

"the spy" without reviewing thoroughly

Mesfun's political resume prior to the

merging of Eritrean Democratic Party

and Eritrean People's Party.

The Chairman remained cool in the

waves. He generally delighted the

audience. Others just loved his

commanding manner.

Honorable Gherezgiher Tewelde

accompanied the Chairman. Honorable

Gherezgiher is a career politician and

theory wizard within EPDP community.

He is Chairperson's representative in

North America. The meticulous

Honorable Gherezgiher was assisting

the Chairperson in dealing with the

samurai warriors.

Zewdi Tesfaldet: Why are we burning so

Hagos Bariagabre (Wedi Banda): Hate

it or love it, violent and nonviolent are

non-separable. Why on earth can't you

use both?

Honorable Gherezgiher flashed an old

time memory. He said, "Now I can

understand why the government of

Eritrea is substandard to any

government. I was political prisoner

during the regime of Haile Selassie.

The regime provided me an attorney

named Grazmach Tewelde Tedla to

defend me."

His story paints an absurd world in

today's Eritrea. "Unfortunately, my

attorney died before I can fully thank

him, it is really sad story" he added.

choose nonviolent? For God's sake! Did

you know your real enemy?

Haile Menegesha Okbe: Mesfun Hagos

is a certified spy, given his landing in

the west after he put his signature on

the G15 document. Why can't a bug of

suspicion bite you, as you welcome him

to join you?

Mebrahtu Tekle: Mesfun Hagos was

playing a smart game over you. Do

you've answer for that?

send affirmatively your proposal to the

The fascinated Mr. Courtney is Ato

Tukue Tesfai's workmate (See page

11). Mr. Courtney is non-Eritrean.

Yet he is deeply affected by the

dreadful situation in Eritrea, as a

result of Ato Tukue's influence on

the employees of the company. His

face tells the rest of the story.
