Dear Friends of the University of Mount Olive,

As you read through this report that covers the fiscal year July 1, 2018 through June 30, 2019, you will see the names of many of our supporters who believe in and support this great University. These gifts are significant and impactful investments in our ability to change lives, and we are ever grateful and humbled by your support.

I have often said that a thriving University is a product of its people and a reflection of its history, mission, vision, and values. That is definitely true at the University of Mount Olive, which was founded by the Original Free Will Baptists as a liberal arts institution with defining Christian principles. Our faculty and staff view their work as a calling to provide students with a transformational education that prepares them for leadership and service. Their energy, enthusiasm, and daily dedication to students ensure a thriving, vibrant learning community.

At UMO, our students are encouraged to excel in their academics and to become involved in award-winning athletics, travel opportunities, internships, extracurricular activities, and volunteer service. These experiences lay the groundwork for students to make lifelong friends, discover new interests, live out their faith, and make career connections.
