Budapest is the unique capital of the world where 70 million liters ofthermal water gush out 118 natural springs that supply12 thermalbaths among which the famous Gellert, Szechenyi, St Lukaacs Baths.Since Antiquity, Roman people, living in the territories located westto the Danube river, founded, at this place, their headquarter,Aquincum, because they appreciated water with curative property ofthe thermal springs. During the twenties, the policy of the city usedthe thermal springs as the main axe for touristic developments.Today, the swimmers appreciate as much the baths with Baroquearchitecture than the leisure centre like Aquaworld. To know, in2008, the biggest underground terms in the world was discovered inBudapest.
