For most homeowners, temperature differences in variousparts of their home are more than an inconvenience ...you find yourself constantly adjusting the thermostats. “Trying to heat your home with a single thermostat is like trying to light your house using just one lamp.”You wouldn’t think of leaving the lights on in every roomwhen you don’t need them. But that’s what happenswhen you control your heating system with just one thermostat.

The solution is CM Zone

The Honeywell CM Zone system solves that problem,making your home more energy efficient and saving youmoney. Every home has at least two zones with differentheating requirements (more zones can be added); e. g. the living area and sleeping area, which are rarelyused at the same time. Others are typically divided between upstairs and downstairs, living area, bathroom,office or granny flat. With CM Zone you will have totalcomfort, no matter where you are.

How it works:A central user panel is the heart of this wireless system.Thermostats located in various areas of your home feed information to the panel, which opens and closes valves to control the temperature in every part of yourhome. To achieve “optimal” energy efficiency a wirelessrelay box for load-demand control (option) is available.

• Fully automatic time programmes adjust individually the radiators to personal comfort temperatures. No manual intervention is required, but you can still alter any radiator individually.

• Rooms are only heated when they are in use, so e. g. you do not have to worry about “forgetting” to turn off the heating.

• An integrated frost protection prevents the radiators from freezing. The system also has an “open window” function, which closes all the radiator valves automatically when you air the room.
