The Akrapovic Supersport is designed for riders who are looking for a major increase in power and torque by replacing the complete exhaust system. Al-though the stock system is a quite powerful package, it responds extremely well to the modification.

PERFORMANCE

Measurements of the Akrapovic SUPERSPORT system on the HONDA CBR 1100 XX (without muffler insert):

Power & Torque: the power and torque curves tell the story: in the middle of the range around 5600 rpm a massive increase begins, which leads all the way to the very top of the range. At 10500 rpm we measured a huge 145.2 HP, with max. increased power of 14.6 HP at 10700 rpm.

CONFIGURATION

The Akrapovic SUPERSPORT system for the Honda CBR 1100 XX is composed of cylindrical stainless steel tubes (header tubes, collector, link pipe) and an oval muf-fler. All components are connected using sleeve joints secured with silicon-shielded springs. The muffler inlet and outlet caps and perforated inner sleeve are made of stainless steel, while the outer sleeve is titanium. The muffler is attached to the frame using an Akrapovic carbon-fiber clamp. The system also includes a fitting for installing a lambda sensor.
