Dear Parents, Vacation is a welcome break! But for students as well as for you, vacations have become synonymous with summers. Is it not? So why not utilize this golden period for family reunion and reiterate your family ties with your kids and relatives. Gear up and utilize your time in the best possible manner. Go ahead with some unique fun activities with your kids. Let’s cheer for the 3R’s- Rejuvenation, Relaxation and Rebonding ! Dear Students, Vacation is a time when you connect with your friends, family members and relatives. So, all of you “FIX A GOAL AND STRIVE HARD EACH DAY TO ACHIEVE IT!”

Here are few tips for you to follow –

1. Do not get up late.Rise at the usual time and go for a morning walk,or play a game that interests you. Talk about things you see around. Plan some outdoor and indoor games.Spend some time on a hobby.

2. Read newspaper.Keep yourself updated. Reading from colourful illustrated story books will develop your language skills.Listen to stories from family members and try to narrate the stories you have read from various story books.

3. Assign a permanent workplace and a work-time. This brings in discipline in your life. If there is a subject you are weak in,try and work on improving that weakness.You will be more confident when you go back to school.

4. Inculcate good manners – 4 magic words `Please, Thank you, Excuse me, Sorry’ – Use them and see the difference.

5. Do not spend time playing video games or using the smart phone,they tend to numb your senses and are a pure mechanical activity on hot summer afternoon ,try playing scrabble or chess.Your vocabulary as well as concentration power will improve.

6. Plan a daily routine for yourself. Pen it down and follow it. Spend quality time with your parents. Help your mother to keep the house clean. Do small household jobs like dusting, watering the plants, laying dinner table and so on.

7. Lets become Green warriors and plant tree saplings from nursery like neem,bel,lemon etc and water plants at least weekly once and take necessary care to ensure that these saplings survive.

8. Last but not the least – `Always speak in English with your family members and friends.’

Write one page of cursive writing daily for 15 days for both Hindi and English in

thin notebook.

Kindly revise the syllabus for all subjects done till the month of May 2019.

Find Atleast five new words from various sources eg newspapers,

magazines, story books etc (for both English & Hindi) everyday and learn how to use them

in your own sentences. Write these words and sentences in a thin notebook.

4. Prepare a chart of complete parts of ‘Tenses’. 5. Prepare two charts of different kind with picture on the following stories ‘ The Fox and the

Crow’ and ‘The Greedy Dog’.

6. Write your holiday experience in about 20 lines. Mathematics

1. Solve Chapters. 1,2,3,5,6 and Revision Times.

2. Solve 15 Sudok.

3. Prepare a formula chart in note-book.

4. Make a model of different type of triangle.

5. Make a project of 4-5 pages on any Indian Mathematician and his contributions.

Social science

1. On political map of India mark all the states and union territories and paste in your history copy.

2. Plant at least one sapling at your neighbor hood, click the photograph and paste it in your geography copy.

3. In your geography copy write five ways on conservation of environment with catchy slogans

4. Explain any 10 rules of any one game according to your choice and paste the pictures

related the game in project file.

5. Paste the pictures of Indian players who won medals in C.W.G 2018.
