Please get out your Lesson 5 Homework Practice worksheet from yesterday and a colored pen or pencil for checking.

• Ch7 Assessment TOMORROW (FRIDAY)

• Khan HW due by 11:59pm SUNDAY-click on "Assignments"--85% or higher on exercises for credit

Check your homework from yesterday. Write a check (correct) or x (wrong) next to each, just like we do in class. If you got it wrong, write in the correct answer with your pen. I don't care what "grade" you got, just mark it right or wrong, and if you got it wrong, try to figure out why.

Remember to multiply both sides by the number with the variable. This will "undo" the division and leave the variable by itself.

Multiply both sides by 8. Multiply both sides by 7.

Multiply both sides by 4. Multiply both sides by 6. Multiply both sides by 7.

Please work on the Star Wars themed task cards on solving equations (on the following two slides). If you can, print it, complete it, then put into your INB. If you cannot print, COPY EACH PROBLEM into your INB and complete, showing all work, leaving a space between each problem, and going DOWN THE MARGIN IN A COLUMN. Do not make it look like scratch paper.

You MUST show the BALANCED equation! Remember to do the inverse operation to solve. It is a chapter review, so you will see ALL FOUR operations!

I am attaching the study guide again in case you didn't print or work on it yesterday. It is due as the last item in your notebook by Friday. It should be checked on my website by Friday--I plan to post the solutions by Thursday evening.
