Homeward Bound Musical/Drama
Our senior adult choir will present the musical Homeward Bound to-
night at 6:00 p.m. Invite your friends, and join us for an evening of
great music and drama! The setting is a baseball game, and there will be a
free tailgate-style dinner following the program. We will recognize all
youth currently playing baseball or softball, so wear your team jersey, and
get in on the action!
VBS Registration
Register TODAY for Vacation Bible School at the VBS table! VBS is May
31st-June 4th! Don’t forget, May is VBS Snack Month!
Scholarships for Student Ministry Bible Camp Trip
From June 8th–12th, our Student Ministry is offering the opportunity for
students in 6th-12th grade to attend camp. This will be a great time of Bi-
ble study and fellowship. We’d like to offer scholarships to the students. If
you’re interested in sponsoring a student, please see Brad Bennett.
Take Me Out to the Ballgame!
Our EBC Silver Stars will be attending a Tennessee Smokies baseball game
in Sevierville on Sunday afternoon, June 7th. We will be leaving EBC at
11:30 a.m. The cost is $21 per person, which includes an all-you-can-eat
Calhoun’s BBQ lunch and game ticket. Please see Larry or Gwen Lane to
sign up by May 24th.

VBS is right around the corner beginning Sunday evening, May 31st at 6:00 p.m. with a meal served at 5:15 p.m. We want you here as this will be our largest VBS yet; and we are praying for it to be the greatest in every way in the church’s long history.
We need your help. You have done so well in helping stock up on the goodies we need for each day of the school. But we need more! The sooner you bring in the goods, the easi-er it is to plan on what, if anything, we have to purchase. We feed the entire school each night; and we have snacks, since we are here for more than a couple of hours. This makes it convenient for those of you who work all day, so you will not have to rush home to prepare a meal for your family. We understand, and we will do that for you! Thank you as al-ways for your generosity! A special “thank you” to all of you, who work so hard to prepare the food and snacks each evening!
Finally, please pray each day for Vacation Bible School that God would be pleased with all we do and that He will touch people, each of us, and people will be drawn to know the God we love. Unless the Spirit of God anoints our hearts, hands, and efforts, then nothing will happen to allow us to have the eternal effect that we all desire. Pray! Pray! Pray each day!
