The Homestead is proud to announce plans for the next chapter in its storied history with $25 million worth of dramatic new enhancements.

The Homestead will introduce a ground-breaking, family attraction built into 2+ acres of the Allegheny Mountains. This one-of-a-kind mountainside addition will feature natural waters from the Alleghenies to create the country’s first natural water-infused trio of water slides, lazy river and heated pool.

A fourth golf course will be built - The Cascades Miniature, a fun activity for the whole family and a wonderful way to introduce our youngest guests to the golf heritage of The Homestead.

The new, world-class Homestead Spa and Wellness Center will also debut this year. Extensive renovations will be made to the interior and exterior spaces, all built to introduce new, customized experiences with a wide range of treatments, spa rituals and wellness programs, plus fitness and nutritional classes emphasizing health and wellness themes.

Also new will be an adults-only, year-round outdoor spa garden featuring a hot spring-fed mineral bath and neighboring river reflexology bed. The new outdoor facility will also include winterized poolside cabanas, heated pool, sauna and whirlpool.

The Homestead, famous for its long standing dining traditions will unveil new restaurant and bar options. The Presidents Lounge will move to the Great Hall, presidential history included, a space destined to be a favorite spot for family and friends.

Complementing the new Presidents Lounge will be a family-friendly restaurant and lounge combining old world comforts with state-of-the-art, multi-media technology. Tastefully integrating these large screen visuals with warming fireplaces will be the calling card of the new lounge. President Thomas Jefferson, considered one of the nation’s first gourmands, is the inspiration for the new restaurant, which will feature farm-to-table favorites created by today’s generation of culinary talents.
