1.Find a simple place in your home
that can be YOURS. It
doesn't need to be a whole room!
My first space was between my bed
and my closet! It can be under a
window, on a porch, really
anywhere to create YOUR sacred
space. Claim it as yours!

2. Clear the area, you can put a small
altar or box to put special things on that
inspire you! Decorate it! I have
pictures of my family and famous
Yogis...Paramhansa Yogananda, Yogi
Bhajan.....but it really could be
anyone/anything that makes you
happy/inspires you.

3. Put down a pillow, mat or blanket to
sit on/do your practice, I have a
sheepskin. Make yourself comfortable.
Get creative. Make it pretty! Make it
YOURS. I put special stones, beads,
incense sticks, and a box for
prayers/people I am sending love to.

4. Decide how long you want to do a
practice. Maybe start small....3
minutes a day and commit for a
specific amount of time (11 days). Get
a timer or a way to keep time don't use
your phone!

5. Commit to your practice! Need some
