•Onlyusecircularbladeswithacontinuousrim–DONOTUSEsegmentedcircularblades,sawbladesorabrasivedisks.

•Themachineshouldbeusedindoorsonly,inaclean,dry,welllitareaandonaclutterfree,flatworksurface.

•Avoidwearinglooseclothing,ties,rings,braceletsorotherlooseitemswhichmaybecomecaughtinthemovingparts.Longhairshouldalsobetiedbackorcontained.

•Alwaysensurethatallloosetoolsandcomponentsareremovedfromtheimmediate working area.

•Switchmachineoffbetweencutsanddisconnectfrommainssupplybeforecarryingoutanymaintenance,cleaningorchangingtheblade.

•Whenusinganextensionlead,checkthatitiscapableofcarryingthecurrentrequired-failuretodosomayresultinlossofpowerand overheating.

•Donotleavethesawrunningunattendedortouchthebladewhilstinmotion–alwaysusethebladeguardwhen cutting.

•Replacedamagedbladesimmediatelyandensurethatnewbladesarefittedcorrectly to run in the directionindicatedontheblade.

•Onlyrecommendedreplacementpartsshouldbeusedwiththismachine–useofimproperaccessoriescouldcauseseriousinjury

Automatic OverloadProtectionTopreventoverheatingthismachinehasautomaticoverloadprotectionwhichisdesignedtocutpowertothemotor.

Shouldtheautomaticoverloadprotectiontrip,ensurethatmainspowersupplyandmachineswitchareturnedoff.

Assembly&Operation OperatingInstructions

Removethesawfromitscarton,laycarefullyonits side.

Unfastenbladecarriageretainingbolt.

Pushthebladecarriagetoitsfurthestpointawayfromtheoperator.Placethetileinpositiononthecuttingtablesothatitrestsagainstthemeasuringscale and mitre guide.

Setthesizeofcutrequiredonthemeasuringscale and lock the mitre guide.Switch on the machine.

Pullthebladecarriagesteadilytowardsyou,cuttingthroughthetile.Whenthecutiscomplete,switchoffthemachine,removingthecuttilepiecesandanydebris.

Straight Cuts

Pulldownthelegsandfastenthefoursafetybracketstothemusingthearms.

Make sure the wheels are tightened.

Ensurethatthedrainplugisinposition,thenfillthewatertrayuntilthepumpisalmostsub-merged.(approx.10litres).Checkwaterlevelregularlyandtopupasnecessary.

Placethetileinpositiononthecuttingtablesothat it rests against the measuring scale and the mitre guide.

Tiltthebridgetothedesiredangle(upto45O) and re-tighten.

Loosen the winged screw on the mitre guide and settheangleofcutrequired.

Pullthebladecarriagesteadilytowardsyou,cuttingthroughthetile.Whenthecutiscomplete,switchoffthemachine,removingthecuttilepiecesandanydebris.

Remove the two cover retaining screws and take offthebladeguard.

Thebridgesawcomeswithhandlesforeaseofmoving the machine.

Whilstholdingtheshaftwiththespannerwrench,turnthebladeretainingnutclockwisetoreleaseusing the hex wrench.

Ensurethatthenewbladeiscorrectlyseatedagainsttheshaftandthatthedirectionalarrowmatchesthatonthebladeguard.Replacetheflangeandnut,takingcarenottoovertighten.

Rotatebladetoensurecorrectalignment.

Replacethebladeguardandwatertubes.

Fortransportationthesawbetweenjobs,wheelscanbemountedatthetopofthefoldedlegs,justbelowtheangledstabilisingbracket.Thesawcannowbemovedbyliftingthehandleattheoppositeendofthemachine.

Note:Pleasecleanthepumpimmediatelyafteryoustopuse.Otherwisethefilterfoamandtheimpellercouldbestuckbythedrydebris.Soyoumustreplacethefilterfoamorthepump.

1. Cleanthepump Tocleanthepump,removetheintakeCover,and thentakeoutofthefilterfoamandimpellercover. Useasmallbrushorstreamofwatertoremoveany debrisonthefoamandtheimpeller.

2. Replacethefilterfoam Toreplacethefilterfoam,removetheintakecover, thentakeoutofthefilterfoamandputintoa new one.
