Gallogly Events Center and University Center Rooftop PV Solar System Questions & Answers Answers noted to be found on our web site can be found at: http://www.uccs.edu/facsrvs/projects-out-for-rfqrfp/gallogly- events-center-rooftop-solar-cmgc.html Question I was hoping you could post the usage information as discussed for the meter in question prior to the Q&A session. Answer The monthly electric usage for the Gallogly Events Center is posted in the EXCEL document labeled “UCCS Electric ETL Rate – Gallogly EC” on our Web site. Based on State rules our initial assessment is that 291,720 kWh system can be connected. However, the contractor is to confirm final sizing. Question Can we get a pdf copy of the roof and electrical plan set? Answer PDFs of the roof and electrical plan set are now posted on our WEB site. Question If required will documentation be required for all equipment or will spec sheets of the panels suffice? Answer Submittals will be required for all equipment. Question Please confirm that the PV panes need to be monocrystalline and made in the USA. Answer The panels to be bid are to be monocrystalline. It is preferred, but not required that the PV panels be made in the USA. State reporting requirements now require us to report all out of state and out of country materials used in State projects. Question Can you please provide the building plans in pdf? Answer The roof and electrical plans are now posted on our WEB site. Question

QuestionDo you have a preference on the third party monitoring? (May want to keep the same software as other sites on campus)AnswerWe do not have a system preference. We are currently just reading straight from the inverters but they do provide the type of reporting that is requested in the RFP.QuestionHas UCCS confirmed with CSU that the PV can be installed on University Center roof, but tie into Gallogly Center MDP?AnswerEither or both roofs can be used to provide the maximum allowed PV solar installation. The array will be tied into the Gallogly Events Center power as that electric rate has the highest unit energy cost.QuestionCan you please provide at least 12 months usage data for the Event Center meter?AnswerThe monthly electric usage for the Gallogly Events Center is posted in the EXCEL document labeled “UCCS Electric ETL Rate – Gallogly EC” on our Web site.QuestionWill prevailing wages be required?AnswerNo.QuestionCan you please confirm the modules will need to be American made as this is not requested in the RFP?AnswerIt is preferred, but not required that the PV panes be made in the USA. State reporting requirements now require us to report all out of state and out of country materials used in State projects.QuestionWill slip sheets be required even if they are not a requirement of the roof manufacturer?AnswerSee the pictures below for examples of how the roof should be protected from the various systems.
